REIMAGINING COMPUTING FOR INDIAN LANGUAGES

The QWERTY keyboard was designed over 150 years ago for English typewriters.

But is it the right foundation for a country with dozens of scripts and hundreds of languages?

Join us for an engaging webinar this Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 5:30pm IST with Dr. Guru Prasad, inventor of the patented Ka-Naada multilingual keyboard, as he explores how Indian language computing can move beyond legacy interfaces. Built around the phonetic structure of Brahmi-based scripts rather than English spelling, Ka-Naada enables typing across multiple Indic languages using a single keyboard.

The session will also look at RAAG, his latest work that combines multilingual input with speech recognition, translation and AI-enabled language technologies to make computing more accessible in Indian languages.
