Amit Sharma heads an exciting area at IBM, having held several senior roles in IBM, with responsibilities spanning finance, corporate & business development, sales operations and strategy. In his global role as Vice President & General Manager - Operations, WW GBS - Cloud Application Innovation, Amit has a close connection to emerging technologies and trends. Prior to this, Amit has been the COO, for IBM India/South Asia, the CFO of IBM WW Services Delivery and CFO of IBM's Global Integrated Operations as well CFO of IBM India/South Asia having spent time with IBM in Singapore, Tokyo, New York and Bangalore. He was recognized as the CFO of the year, 2006, by IMA in the MNC category. Amit holds an Engineering degree in Computer Science and an MBA in Finance and International Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, India.
Nipun Mehrotra leads IBM India's transformation and accelerated push to "Digital", supporting and leveraging the Tech Eco System - Developers, Start Ups, Investors, Academia - along with IBM Clients to create business value through innovation. Having mentored over 20 startups in India and Singapore, he is personally focused on creating more IP based deep tech Start Ups from India. Nipun hold Computer Science degree from NIT, Trichy.
Amit and Nipun are looking to share their vast experience in an interactive discussion during TSMM. Besides the formal session you can also network and extend the conversation over drinks and dinner.
