For technology startups that either have a technology product or are centred around technology as in ecommerce or on-demand services, technology, architecture, user experience, infrastructure and scalability are key areas that can swing the venture towards success or potential disaster. Angels and Venture Funding companies look for these when they evaluate startups and make decisions on funding them.
Srinivasan Subramanian, IITM and CTO of Accel, one of the world's leading venture funding companies helps startups work out their strategy and implementation of technology, product development, infrastructure and scalability. He has also been a founder himself and understands the challenges that startups have when they are trying to create a breakthrough tech venture.
Vasan is both IIT and IIM and has had an exciting career in technology with initial roles with TVS Electronics, Corel and Wipro. Vasan then led NetContinuum and Insta Health Solutions, both technology companies, enabling them to create strong technology products and scale them with good architecture, engineering and infrastructure. Since 2013 Vasan has been CTO with Accel, helping technology startups to build great products, technology and manage scale.
This month's TSMM will provide valuable insights for founders and technology professionals who are in startups or planning one. Vasan will talk about his learnings on how to make a startup attractive for VCs, having been both an entrepreneur asking for money as well as a VC evaluating tech startups. He will also dive deeper into how startups need to plan and develop their technology and products to be scalable and become worthy of attention and funding.
This TSMM is focused on building and growing technology-centric startups. We will have mentors, angels, funders, founders and tech specialists in the room. This can also be a great opportunity for networking and building connections for your startup.
