Prof. Paulraj has definite ideas about what India needs.

"I believe India needs to be more aggressive in building a high-tech industry that addresses our mass market needs - telecom, computing, civil jets, precision instruments,..Not so much to become self-reliant as to become an equal partner with other leading countries in what is becoming a global enterprise. This talk will raise some questions to provoke some discussion."

He will bring in these subjects and other thought provoking ones during his lecture that promises to be a treat for IIT Alumni and anyone interested in technology and India's future in the high-tech industries.
