(An IIT Alumni Centre Exclusive Event)


4 teams debate for and against Demonetisation with focus on 4 key effects: Black Economy, Corruption, GDP Growth, Rural Economy. We are inviting teams to send in their entries and registrations for the event are also open.

Venue: Koramangala Club, Koramangala, Bengaluru
Schedule: 630pm Networking over Drinks and Snacks, 7pm Debate, 830pm Dinner

Team Debate on Demonetisation

TSMM this December is on Sunday, 18th December at Koramangala Club. We have an engaging debate planned for the evening. We will begin with networking over drinks and snacks and get into the excitement of discussion and competing debating teams. Discussions and networking can continue over dinner.

Debating teams can include IIT alumni, faculty and their spouses. We are inviting 4 teams of 2 debaters, one for and one against the topic to send their entries to . No entry fee for teams.

The topics for the debate are:

Demonetisation reduces Black Economy
Demonetisation reduces Corruption
Demonetisation will spur GDP Growth
Demonetisation is good for Rural Economy

We will confirm the topic to each team by email.

Event is open to all institutes, branches, years and we would love to see everyone participate. Send us your entries latest by 6pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2016.

Audience can participate and ask the teams questions to bring out the best in them and enable our judges to rate them.

Registrations for the event is open. Please register to confirm your attendance. You can bring friends and family along as guests.

Free for all IIT Alumni Centre members and affiliates from IIT Alumni Center, Chennai. Rs 300 for all others that covers welcome drink, snacks and dinner.
