IITACB presents July Third Saturday on the theme Women of Social Change. We have two experienced practitioners lined up for the evening, Rohini Nilekani and Shoma Bakre. They would present their respective story followed by Q&A.

Date: July 18, 2015 (Saturday)

Rohini Nilekani founded Arghyam to work on water and sanitation issues. She is working on a number of other social issues through other organizations including Pratham Books, ATREE (Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment) and Sanghamitra Rural Financial Services.

Shoma Bakre founded Let's Do Some Good Foundation to work on issues facing underprivileged children and women. She retired from corporate life in 2012 and is now full-time into social sector. She has worked in a variety of social sector initiatives for the underprivileged in education, healthcare, nutrition, sanitation and livelihood.

You are invited to join the talk and networking dinner with your friends and family to listen to and meet Rohini and Shoma. A direct interaction with them would provide interesting possibilities and insights into their rich and diverse experience in working successfully in Indian society driving positive change. Calling women alumni to come forward and men to bring their ladies! We are sure that you would go back inspired and charged!
