Of late, there’s been a lot of discussion in various fora on where the IITs are going / should be going, are doing / not doing, etc. etc. etc.
On the one hand, we hear of IITs climbing higher in the ranking of World Institutes, on the other we hear that the JEE is being scrapped. On the one hand, we hear of great faculty, but we also have Ministers questioning the quality of faculty. Is IIT a UG or a PG Institute? Is it a question of “or” or rather of “and”? These and many, many more questions repeatedly cross our minds.
To get some insights into these issues, what better than to hear from those that have been at the helm of the IITs.
Yes, the IIT Alumni Club, Bangalore, is pleased to kick off its Inaugural Talk Series with a panel discussion titled: “The Future of the IITs” – with a very eminent panel consisting of former Directors of the IITs. They include:
Prof. Ashok Misra (former Director, IIT Bombay) Prof. MS Ananth (former Director, IIT Madras) Prof. VS Raju (former Director, IIT Delhi) Prof.R. Natarajan (former Director, IIT Madras)
